- LPG is a mixture of Propane (30-40%) and Butane (60-70%)
- The original LPG is odourless, but it was added with Ethyl Mercaptan for odour / smell detection
- The LPG is control item under KPDNHEP. The pricing is fluctuated subject to international market and USD Exchange rate
- Any gas pipe reticulation system (LPG piping / NG piping) shall get approval from Gas Authority
- The gas detector used for LPG is referred to hydrocarbon measurement and it does not depend on the smell
- LPG in storage are store in liquid form while we are using in vapour form. The liquid can expand to vapour for 270 times.
